Hello guys, I just wanted to drop a line and give you my opinion on the CoralBox DC500 Protein Skimmer. I have had it running now for about 1 week and I must say that I am very impressed with it. The packaging and wrapping to protect the parts during shipping, the quality components and the way it works is great. Within an hour and a half this skimmer was producing skimmate and I found just minor adjustment to the outflow knob were needed to dial it in over the next day or so were all that were needed. The 1 part sheet of the instructions that were included were really not needed to assemble the unit as a couple of minutes studying it will pretty much allow you to put it all together easily.
I would highly recommend the CoralBox DC500.

Thought I'd give you an update on my Coralbox DC700 Skimmer.
Its been running for close to a month now and I couldn't be happier with its performance. Its easy to clean and runs whisper quiet. It came incredibly well packaged and the components were well constructed and fit together with ease.
It was definitely worth the wait :) I would highly recommend it!

BTW, the Cloud 9 Skimmer is AMAZING. It's already pulled more gunk in 12hrs than my old Reef Octopus pulled in a month!

As the president of Pets and Ponds I have upgraded my other popular brand of skimmer to a Coralbox skimmer on my personal aquarium. I am very pleased with the performance and efficiency of my DC500 skimmer. With so many skimmers in our warehouse to choose from I don't think any skimmer of comparable size or price can outperform the Coralbox skimmers.
