German Engineered Granular Ferric Oxide (GFO) is the benchmark media for total phosphate removal in all aquaria. Used all over the world, it is the product of choice for many critical water purity applications.

Hi Jason, I bought some of your bulk GFO and some other Phosphate remover about a week ago to try out. I have used some others and the best one I had found was the Rowa, well then I tried the Bulk you sell and I was very impressed with it. Had a reading of 137 on my Hanna Phosphorus checker and added 2 cups, in 24 hrs it read 22 very good, right there with Rowa, but the best part is the media itself, almost all the same size about the size of Matrix Carbon and rinsed quickly with only a small amount being discharged, unlike Rowa where you almost have to add an extra 1/2 cup for what is discharged. Anyhow bottom line I am impressed and have no problem recommending it to all and will be purchasing in much larger quantity in the near future.
