I know many people are a bit leery to do retail business over the Internet because, unfortunately, there are many people/companies that are less than forthright with the consumers regarding their products and/or their followup service. I had to write to express my admiration & appreciation of your fantastic service & great prices! I placed my order via E-Mail 05/16/05, from British Columbia, well past business hours in Ontario & received almost immediate confirmation of my order.The next morning I was contacted by telephone , by a representative ,expressing regret that the pump that I had ordered was out of stock & backordered one week , so rather than delay delivery of my order an even larger & more expensive pump was being shipped to me at the same price as my lesser sized & priced pump. Within the hour I received confirmation from Canada Post that a shipment had been processed from Pets & Ponds to me via "Expedited Parcel". I have never received such prompt & considerate service in person , let alone long distance via E-Mail ! I must also express delight in your prices - I paid in excess of $100.00 less through your company , shipment included; on my original order, not even considering the upgrade, than could be found at any outlet here in Prince George. I am impressed! Thank you for the pleasure of doing business with you, needless to say I will again, & I refer anyone that I talk "pondtalk" with to your company. HELLO, First of all, I would like to thank Pets and Ponds for such quick and efficient service. I placed an order on Dec. 31/03 and received it today, Jan. 7/04. That's very impressive mail order service and very important when you live in a remote area of this province. Secondly, I want to sat that I'm thrilled with your prices. I purchased a Fluval 304 and a Tronic heater and saved over $70.00 just on those 2 items compared to shopping at SuperPet in Thunder Bay (250 km away). I returned the exact same items to them because of the savings I received purchasing from Pets and Ponds. I even gave them the chance to match the price, but they would not or could not! The shipment of 24 Whisper filter inserts, shipped out on November 4, arrived today. May I share with you why I ordered them from your business? I found I could no longer acquire 24 pack boxes locally or anywhere on the internet with a USA address. But your web page showed you had them. "Great," I thought, "I'll give these folks a try." And you came through with what I ordered. But in the process I learned from you that the 24 pack boxes are no longer provided by the manufacturer.
