Uniseals are an economical fast installation choice for plumbing connection to another pipe or vessel such as drums and barrels, sumps, filters, aquariums, etc. Uniseals work on flat or curved surfaces - they work in areas where traditional bulkhead fittings will not such as curved surfaces, i.e. pipe wall or round drum wall. Also can be used when access to inside of tank is not practical for tightening bulkhead nuts. Uniseals are just pressed into a drilled hole. Uniseals are manufactured from a chemical resistant rubber-like thermoplastic. Good resistance to water and oil based materials with good UV exposure resistance. Simply drill appropriate sized hole, insert Uniseal and push pipe through Uniseal from large diameter side of Uniseal. Use a soapy solution or silicone o-ring lube to help insert pipe. Makes a tight waterproof seal. Inserted pipe must be free from sharp edges or points to avoid cutting into Uniseal. Pipe/tank wall thicknesses should be from 1/8” to 1/2” on larger Uniseals. 1˝” Uniseal Fits 1 1/2” PVC pipe with 1.9" O.D. Hole saw size: 2 1/2” or 64mm
